Brett Miller Named General Manager of Nashville's
Union Station Hotel, a Wyndham Historic Hotel

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 2007) -- Brett Miller, formerly assistant general manager of the Hilton Nashville Downtown, has been named general manager of Nashville¹s Union Station Hotel, a Wyndham Historic Hotel.

Miller assumed his new role just as a $10 million, two-year renovation project was being completed.  The hotel has 125 guestrooms, 12,000 square feet of meeting space and a new restaurant, Prime 108.

Prior to the Hilton, Miller¹s career had focused on food and beverage.  He has worked in restaurants, country clubs and hotels in Florida, New York City and California, including the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. He has a degree in hospitality management from Florida International University in Miami.

The building that houses the Union Station Hotel opened in 1900 as the showplace station of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. The building was converted to a hotel in 1986 and is a member of Historic Hotels of America.

It is near major Nashville destinations, including Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the city¹s honky-tonk district, Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, the central business district and the emerging restaurant and entertainment area known as the Gulch.
