Nicholas Emery and Jennifer Harding Appointed to General
Manager
Positions with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts

TORONTO, DECEMBER 13, 2007 - In response to recent development
activity and portfolio growth, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced
appointments at two of its key international destinations. Nicholas
Emery has been named the general manager of Fairmont Beijing and Jennifer
Harding will take on the role of general manager of The Fairmont Royal
Pavilion in Barbados.
A 22-year veteran to the hospitality industry, Nicholas Emery
has held progressive positions at various international properties in London,
Pittsburgh and Chicago. Emery joined the company in 1999 at The Fairmont
Chicago and was later appointed to his most recent position as general
manager at The Fairmont Royal Pavilion. He will now serve as the general
manager of Fairmont Beijing, the second Asia property for the brand, set
to open in 2008.
