The DeVos Family, Former Owners of Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands,
Open the $85 million Cape Eleuthera Resort & Yacht Club on
Eleuthera Island, The Bahamas

ELEUTHERA ISLAND, The Bahamas (December 11, 2007) -- Boasting one of the largest marinas in the Out Islands of The Bahamas, the new $85 million Cape Eleuthera Resort & Yacht Club is situated on a private 4,500-acre peninsula on Eleuthera Island and features two-bedroom townhome resort accommodations lining the marina and beachfront lots starting at $600,000 for real estate opportunists. Located less than 220 miles off the east coast of Florida, The Cape Eleuthera resort and real estate project is being developed by the DeVos family who formerly owned Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands and is an ideal setting for world-renowned sport fishing, boating or simply relaxing on secluded beaches.

Cape Eleuthera is not for everyone, said David Green, managing director. It will never be a Las Vegas style resort transplanted in the Caribbean, but our guests are able to enjoy an authentic, Bahamian Out Island experience and that is what makes us so appealing. Green also notes that due to the immense land size, no other resorts or developments on the island will encroach upon the Cape Eleuthera development, ensuring guests always have a natural environment to explore.

The largest world-class marina in the Out Islands, the Cape Eleuthera Yacht Club boasts the longest Mega Yacht Dock on Eleuthera at more than 450 feet and features a wide flushing channel to ensure a gin-clear marina basin and protection against surge. The marina also accommodates vessels larger than 200 feet with depths up to 35 feet and currently holds 55 slips with a potential capacity of up to 200.

Twenty-six waterfront lots, starting at $600,000, are the future home of ocean front beach villas and private estate homes. Vacationers stay along the marina in two-bedroom townhomes blending the authentic Caribbean way of life with contemporary amenities and a design that mirrors the architectural details found on many of the original island homes. Each townhome features stainless steel GE Profile appliances, granite counter tops and tiled floors. Complete with spacious living areas, luxurious four-poster beds, fully appointed kitchens and washer and dryer, the townhomes have all the luxuries of being at home with the benefits of staying at a resort. Private porches and balconies command views of the marina and visitors take in understated elegance, sensible luxury and the natural beauty of Eleuthera.

Cape Eleuthera Resort & Yacht Club is a new, full service resort and real estate development gracing Eleuthera Island. Located on a 4,500-acre peninsula, Cape Eleuthera offers 16 miles of waterfront property. With activities ranging from deep sea fishing and exploring uninhabited islands to soaking in the sun on secluded private beaches and kayaking the turquoise waters, Cape Eleuthera has an activity for every traveler. Cape Eleutheras convenient location is ideal for a weekend island getaway, yet the Technicolor waters and expansive beaches tempt guests to stay a lifetime.
