City, Mich. has promoted Colleen A. Brzozowski to the position of Director
of Sales. In her new position, Ms. Brzozowski is responsible for
overseeing all facets of the 600-room Resort's 14-person group sales team
including revenue management, travel, trade shows, and budgeting.
Ms. Brzozowski has 14 years of experience in the hospitality and meetings industry. She has been with Grand Traverse Resort & Spa since November of 2001 when she began as an Executive Meeting Manager. Eight months later she was promoted to National Sales Manager and focused on clients in Southwest Michigan as well as in the Corporate, Association, Government and SMERF markets in the Midwest and West. In her capacity as Director of Sales, Ms. Brzozowski will continue to represent the Resort to clients in the Insurance and Financial markets and will also manage several key accounts. Before joining the Resort, Ms. Brzozowski had previous experience as Sales Manager for the Yarrow Golf & Conference Center near Battle Creek, and was Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn - Kalamazoo Airport. Ms. Brzozowski is an active member of the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners Association (FICP) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
