The Providence Group Manages The Microtel Inn & Suites
in Seneca Falls, New York

(September 5, 2007) DUXBURY, MASS. – The 70-room Microtel Inn & Suites in Seneca Falls, New York, recently turned to The Providence Group to help rejuvenate its award winning property. 

“Our niche is simple,” said Jed Heller, founder and CEO of The Providence Group. “Through our expertise in the hospitality industry, we are able to reorganize and add value to underperforming or mismanaged properties that are around 70 rooms.”

Earlier this year, The Sandhurst Hotel & Suites, a 70-room upscale resort in Florida, chose The Providence Group to manage its property after recognizing the value the Providence Group offers. “We’ve brought a high level of professionalism and increased the hotel’s profitability for 50 percent of what traditional management companies were quoting The Sandhurst,” Heller said.

“We will do the same for Microtel Inn & Suites,” Heller added.

Heller is at his best when working on niche management. Just look at The Providence Group’s division called Villa Consultants International that caters to today's fast-growing market for affluent travel, focusing on improving operations, sales and marketing, and overall profitability at client properties. 

“When we focus on a particular area or two in this industry, we tend to do exceptionally well,” Heller said.

Armed with that knowledge, Heller decided to offer his expertise in niche management for mid-sized properties. “We work with great owners who appreciate the results we provide, and we’re having fun. These approximately 70-room sized properties see pretty quick results, especially when it comes to revenue management.”

Heller doesn’t want to grow to more than six or seven contracts so he can remain personally involved in all property operations. “We have the resources and expertise to add value to bigger properties, but it would have to depend on our relationship with the owner,” he said.
