CHICAGO - July 19, 2007 - Global Hyatt President and Chief
Executive Officer Mark Hoplamazian today announced the appointment of Robb
Webb as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this capacity Webb will assume
leadership responsibility for all human resource initiatives across all

Webb joins Global Hyatt from Citi where he was most recently Head of Global Service Delivery for Citi Employee Services. Prior to that, he held several senior human resources roles in the Citi Global Consumer Group. "I'm delighted to welcome Robb to Global Hyatt in this newly created role," said Hoplamazian. "Our plans for growth call for a coordinated human capital strategy across all Hyatt brands. Robb's experience in creating, acquiring and building consumer oriented franchises around the world aligns well with our plans, he said. During the last 20 years, Webb has been responsible for all aspects of human resource strategy for financial institutions in more than twenty countries. He has worked and lived in Canada and Australia where he managed the integration of three companies, before returning to the United States where he served as Chief Administrative Officer for an international subsidiary of Citi. "The strength of the Hyatt brand and the focus on high growth markets provides a compelling opportunity for the company's human resources professionals," said Webb. "I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues and to delivering the services required to support the achievement of Global Hyatts business plan," he said.
