Mr. Mason joined Konover Hotel Corporation in 2005 as Vice President and Division Director.  Under his leadership, Konover Hotel Corporation has expanded its portfolio and hotel management operations to include 21 properties, including ten hotel flags in five states.

Prior to joining Konover, Mr. Mason was Executive Vice President with Royal Host Hotels & Resorts in Calgary, Alberta. His management experience at Royal Host included Corporate Planning & Development, Acquisitions, Purchasing, Renovations, U.S. Operations, Travelodge Canada, Administration, Marketing, and Sales. 

Mr. Mason's career also included two years in management with Chartwell Leisure, Inc. in New York as well as sixteen years in varying management capacities with Forte Hotels.
