Singapore, 25 July 2007 - IHG (InterContinental Hotels
Group) has promoted Dexter Chia, to vice president, sales & marketing,
Greater China. In his new appointment, Dexter will oversee brand performance
and extend IHG�s brand leadership in Greater China. He will also provide
direction with sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and maximize
hotel performance.
Previously regional director of sales & marketing, Greater China, Dexter has made significant contributions since joining IHG in 2005. He has helped established a leadership position for IHG�s hotel brands in China through various initiatives, and also strengthened Crowne Plaza�s brand equity through its affiliation with golf. Edmond Ip, chief operating officer, Greater China, IHG, said: �We are delighted at being able to make this key appointment from within the company.
