May 2007 - Comprehensive renovations to hotel inventory
combined with major infrastructure improvements in the downtown core are
having the desired effects to the bottom line of Niagara Falls conference
and tourism industry. Increased definite room nights for Niagara Falls,
New York have risen by 20,000 compared to 2006 totals. Revenue also continues
to rise, with events secured and hosted by The Conference Center Niagara
Falls generating an additional 4.2 million dollars in bookings to area
hotels compared to 2006 totals. "We're very pleased with the increase in
bookings and expect this trend to continue as we use our management resources
and network of contacts to promote the benefits of our state-of-the-art
conference center," said William Jackson, Executive Vice President, Resorts
& Conference Centers for Sentry Hospitality, facility management firm
for The Conference Center Niagara Falls.
The City of Niagara Falls and USA Niagara Development Corporation have provided the city of Niagara Falls, New York with sweeping changes to the landscape, and overall tourism product. Recent Construction / Renovation
Private Developers Have Also Contributed
