Built in 1992, the Hilton Minneapolis Completes $22.8 Million
Renovation, All 821 Rooms Redesigned

May 15, 2007  - The Hilton Minneapolis, the largest hotel in Minnesota, has just concluded a multi-year 22.8 million-dollar hotelwide renovation which was designed to enable the property to remain as the premiere meetings destination in downtown Minneapolis. 

All 821 guest rooms have been newly renovated and transformed by a contemporary design of rich colors, textures and dark wood which create an environment of elegance, comfort and relaxation.  To increase the guests� productivity and comfort, the property has added over-sized desks with Herman Miller® ergonomic desk chairs in all the guest rooms.  The hotel�s Serenity bed by Hilton package features an exclusive collection of 250 thread count linen and allergen-free goose down pillows. The spa inspired bathrooms include granite counters, fabulous framed mirrors and elegant sconces as well as a curved shower rod that allows for more space in the shower.  Additional guest room amenities include Crabtree & Evelyn�s La Source Bath and Body products, 27� flat tube televisions and the Hilton MP3 stereo clock radio.  Guests staying at the hotel will also enjoy the convenience of dual-line phones and a newly upgraded high-speed internet system for both wireless and wired access.

The Hilton Minneapolis� recently updated banquet and meeting facilities comprises over 74,000 square feet of well appointed and convenient function space including a 25,000 square foot ballroom, the newly added 7,400 square foot Symphony Ballroom, and 21 additional function rooms. The hotel�s full service Business Center is also automated after hours and includes PC work stations, printers and copiers for last minute business needs.
