for Brand Standard MP3 Alarm Clock
.

As part of an initiative to enhance the guest experience across its Comfort Suites brand, Choice Hotels International selects the CS1233BA alarm clock with MP3 line-in and Auto-Set Preset Icon Tuning Buttons as a required standard at all domestic properties

RAHWAY, N.J. MAY 18, 2007 Hotel Technologies, a company that designs, develops, engineers and manufactures state-of-the-art intelligent electronic products for hotels and resorts, has been selected by Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) to provide its CS1233BA  Alarm Clock Radio as a standard guest amenity for its nearly 450 domestic Comfort Suites hotels. The partnership with Hotel Technologies reflects the Comfort Suites brands commitment to providing those guest amenities that consumers truly care about.

Comfort Suites is a mid-priced, all-suites hotel brand that offers more space for working and relaxing, allowing guests to feel more organized and productive.  It offers a premium guest experience, including comfortable, residential-style bedding, the complimentary Savory Starts hot breakfast and free high-speed Internet access.

Comfort Suites hotels are restful, roomy and thoughtfully organized, said Kimberly Shells, senior director, brand strategy, Choice Hotels. Upgrading our guest alarm clocks to a new system designed specifically for Comfort Suites by Hotel Technologies provides an attractive, easy-to-use, in-room entertainment system that guests will enjoy each time they stay at a Comfort Suites hotel.

Hotel Technologies electronics are quickly becoming the solutions for helping hotels to deliver a smarter, simpler, yet sophisticated way of attracting and retaining guests.

The new CS1233BA alarm clock radio designed for Comfort Suites is a sure-fire way to increase guest satisfaction, drive brand loyalty, and get guests excited about staying with the popular brand, said Ely Ashkenazi, national sales manager for Hotel Technologies. We are honored to be in partnership with with Choice Hotels International for its Comfort Suites brand.

Keeping In Tune with Guests

Ashkenazi said that in the past, guests have found the guestroom clock radio to be difficult to program when setting the alarm and also difficult to tune into a music format that they prefer. The Comfort Suites CS1233BA alarm clock radio can be set easily and offers a selection of pre-programmed radio stations by music format, such as jazz, country, rock or classical.

The CS1233BA also requires little set up as it comes with auto-set technology; the time is already set and the hotel version will also include pre-set buttons with icons, allowing the hotelier to set four popular stations for the guest as an added convenience.  EZ set directions make the alarm feature effortless for the guest to operate. An MP3/CD line-in cord is also provided so guests can plug in their CD players or any other branded MP3 players should they wish to do so.

Chris Gowdy, VP of Hotel Technologies Sales Division, said all alarm clock radio products feature a patent pending Single Day Alarm --a very important feature for hotels.  If the previous guest sets an early alarm, the Single Day Alarm feature ensures that the next guest will not be awakened accidentally, since the alarm was never turned off.

From entertainment clock radios to new and exciting connectivity solutions for rooms, Hotel Technologies is bringing the science of feeling at home to hotels, Gowdy said. We are looking for hotel partners who want their guests to feel at home and make their stay memorable. We are committed to bringing a variety of sleek, high tech, high quality, user friendly consumer audio products to the hotel market, each designed with the discriminating traveler in mind.
