Larkspur Hospitality Adds Five

Michael Lennon Appointed Managing
Director,
San Francisco Hotels
Larkspur, Calif. (May 29, 2007) � Larkspur Hospitality
announces the addition of five new executive hires. Larkspur Hospitality,
owner and operator of 23 hotels throughout Northern and Southern California
and the Pacific Northwest, is pleased to welcome Michael Lennon as Managing
Director, San Francisco hotels; Jeff Durkin as General Manager of the Monticello
Inn in San Francisco; Joey DeLeon as Area Director of Sales, San Francisco
hotels; Michaela Winn as General Manager of The Lodge at Tiburon; and Gregory
Martinez as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Lodge at Tiburon.

Michael Lennon has been appointed to the
new position of Managing Director, San Francisco hotels. Michael, who recently
served as General Manager of the four-star Meritage Resort at Napa, will
now assume General Manager duties at The Villa Florence Hotel. Michael
will also oversee the operations of The Cartwright Hotel and Monticello
Inn. Michael will lead a complete repositioning of Larkspur�s three
San Francisco-based hotels, a task that calls for major renovations and
enhanced quality levels at each property. Michael�s diverse background�he
was named the Omni Hotels and Resorts Executive of the Year in 2003 for
outstanding work as Hotel Manager of the Omni Hotel in San Francisco, a
position preceded by management positions with Kimpton Hotels and a degree
from the world-renowned The Culinary Institute of America�will help him
lead his team through the exciting repositioning ahead.
Jeff Durkin has been named General Manager
of the Monticello Inn in San Francisco. Jeff moves over from the
Larkspur Landing Pleasanton, where he served in the same role. Durkin
played an influential role in Larkspur�s acquisition last year of The Belamar
Hotel in Manhattan Beach, an undertaking for which he made important contributions
vital to the hotel�s initial performance. While in his position in
Pleasanton, Jeff proved invaluable to the Larkspur team as he also served
as interim General Manager at The Lodge at Tiburon. Jeff�s leadership
skills and hands-on mentality will allow him to thrive in his new position
that calls for integrating Larkspur programs into the Monticello Inn during
a time of major renovations.
Joey DeLeon joins Larkspur as Area Director
of Sales, San Francisco, responsible for the company�s three Union Square
hotels , The Villa Florence Hotel, The Cartwright Hotel and Monticello
Inn. DeLeon brings with her eighteen years experience in the local hospitality
industry, including a decade with Intercontinental Hotel Group and most
recently as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Kimpton Hotels and
Restaurants.
Michaela Winn joins the Larkspur team at
The Lodge at Tiburon, where she is the new General Manager. Across the
Bay from San Francisco, the 102-room California Craftsman-style upscale
lodge reopened in late June 2006 after a $6.5 million renovation. Michaela
has a strong background in luxury resorts and leisure markets, as well
as extensive leadership in sales, marketing and public relations. Michaela
was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing for the four-star Hotel
Hana-Maui and Honua Spa in Maui, Hawaii. Her insider�s knowledge
of high-end leisure markets and corporate retreat segments will prove invaluable
in helping Larkspur achieve its goals for the Lodge at Tiburon.
Gregory Martinez is the new Director of
Sales and Marketing at The Lodge at Tiburon. Martinez is well-versed to
excel as a Director of Sales and Marketing with Larkspur, considering his
notable expertise in hospitality that includes management positions at
prestigious Bay area hotels including Director of Sales & Marketing,
Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, Berkeley Marina and Area
Director of Sales & Marketing for The San Francisco Bay Hotel Collection,
San Francisco, California.
