Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in St. Thomas
New Sales Team to Support New Look

ST. THOMAS, USVI JUNE 13, 2007 - Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, located in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., announces a fresh, new team and meeting planner incentives to align with the 300-room recently renovated resort.

The expanded team brings decades of hospitality experience including 25-year veteran Scott Kenney, food & beverage director, and 20-year veteran Chef Eddie Williams, raising food and beverage quality, and therefore servicing, for groups. New Senior Sales Managers, David Weaver (Southeast), Laura Krueger (Mid-Atlantic), and Melissa Lipton (Midwest), provide new contacts for planners supported by Silvia de la Rua, meeting services manager. Elliot Manning, rooms director, insures high standards for the transformed rooms and suites. Lorna Richardson, wedding sales manager, handles wedding groups from the very simple ceremony for two on the beach to elaborate extravaganza weddings on the St. Johns Terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea and surrounding islands (http://www.wyndhamsugarbayresort.com).

To celebrate the new momentum, the resort -- featuring an on-site Convention Center with 17,680 square feet of meeting space accommodating up to 800 and carved into a mountainside, surrounded by 31 lush, tropical acres -- is offering special Red Hot Group Rates for 2007 and 2008 with up to 50 percent savings (rates as low as US$110 double occupancy) and incentives from a chance to win a Cartier watch valued at more than $2,000 for booking any group totaling 400 room nights or more in 2007. Additionally, when booking a group of 300 room* or 100 room nights or more, planners are eligible to receive a five-night, six-day vacation for two at Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa.

Part of my mission is to revamp the whole group experience, says Larry Magor, new managing director at Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort. This exciting new line up combined with the resorts multi-million dollar makeover will attract new customers as well as enhance our repeat groups experience on property.
