that Hyatt Hotels Corporation selected its Daylight ASP (Application Service
Provider) solution for its ability to seamlessly integrate with Hyatt�s
own proprietary sales system, Envision. The integrated solution will help
update Hyatt�s operations and deliver the best in customer service. With
the implementation, data will be exchanged between Daylight and Envision
with Daylight serving as the primary sales and catering system for catering
and convention services users.
Hyatt understands the need for a technology solution to help completely transform its operations and streamline the handoff from sales. At any given time within a hotel, the staff sifts through hundreds of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), resulting in millions of details that need to be covered. Currently, Hyatt processes all of these details through a single report so each operational department has to individually pore through and prioritize all the information. Additionally, with the Daylight integration into Envision, the sales team can provide one complete document to the customer, with the event information in chronological order and the cost estimate included.
