Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Juliet Deitz Director
of Human Resources for Bedford Springs Resort

 
The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, June 2007 � Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Juliet Deitz as director of human resources for Bedford Springs Resort.  The historic property, located in Bedford, Pennsylvania, is scheduled to reopen in July following a $120 million restoration and expansion.  Rikki Boparai, general manager, made the announcement. 

�Juliet is a highly respected human resource professional who brings significant experience and expertise to her new role here at Bedford Springs,� state Mr. Boparai.  �We are thrilled to have her join our senior management team and look forward to her continued success at this remarkable resort.�

Ms. Deitz was previously director of human resources for Benchmark�s Edith Macy Conference Center, located in Briarcliff Manor, New York.  In addition to her on-property leadership responsibilities, she served Benchmark Hospitality at the national level as human resource staff support for several of the company�s properties within the metropolitan New York City area, on Long Island, and in Hawaii.

Prior to joining Benchmark, Ms. Deitz served as director of operations for the Raleigh Hotel of South Fallsburg, New York.  She originally joined this hotel as executive assistant. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Deitz held the title of administrative sales manager for Six Flags Great Adventure, based in New York City.  Previous to this she served as food & beverage supervisor for Princess Hotels International at the Southampton Princess in Bermuda, and as front office manager for Rank Hotels at the Alexander National Hotel in London.

Juliet Deitz is a graduate of Camborne Redruth Culinary School in the United Kingdom with a Hotel and Business Administration degree.  She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management.  Ms. Deitz has relocated to the Bedford area.
