News for the Hospitality Executive |
June
21, 2007 - Elfiq launches a new firmware release with a very special feature
called a trigger. This trigger enables to track any IP session and ensure
alternate sessions with same destination IP will use the same link. Primary
usage of this functionality is to fully load balance VPN sessions on different
links with all Elfiq advanced algorithms.
Hospitality now has the possibility to redirect guest business type traffic to selected links and isolate it from peer to peer applications for a great connecting experience. Understanding the cost of losing a recurring customer/revenue because of a bad HSIA experience, this is definitively a plus for Elfiq traffic segmentation approach to meet guest bandwidth needs. The triggers are not limited to VPN sessions and can virtually be used for many other applications such as VoIP. said Ghislain Lachapelle, Executive Vice-President of Elfiq Networks. Elfiq has also implemented functionality and infrastructure to send email SMTP alerts to the General Manager or IT team without a local mail server or ISP SMTP relay. This ensures alert delivery without having to bother with each ISP anti-spam or security rules, thus reducing SMTP alerts configuration time. Elfiq Link Load Balancer installation is the simplest on the market. No IP address migration or any change to the HSIA server is required. Elfiq products will be displayed at the annual HITEC show in Orlando, Florida, June 26th-June28th 2007, booth 546. For further information on Elfiq Link Load Balancers, visit www.elfiq.com.
