 Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Mark Speranza Director of Sales
for Glen Cove Mansion in Glen Cove, New York

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, April 3, 2007 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Mark Speranza as director of sales for Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center, located in Glen Cove, New York.  Ellen Sinclair, vice president, made the announcement.
 
"Mark comes to Glen Cove Mansion with significant group sales experience and sound leadership skills," said Ms. Sinclair.  "We're pleased to welcome him to the sales team at this historic property."
 
Mr. Speranza joins Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center having served successfully in sales leadership positions for several New York City-based hotels.  These include the Regent Wall Street Hotel, Hotel InterContinental New York, and the Millennium Broadway, Manhattan's first dedicated conference center hotel.
 
Through his experience within the New York market, including the financial district, Speranza developed important customer relationships within the financial and legal industries, which he is expected to leverage on behalf of Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center.
 
Mark Speranza is a Deans List graduate of Pace University of New York City, with a Bachelors degree in Business Management.  He is active in Meeting Professionals International, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association - New York Chapter, CITE, New York City Business Travel Association, and the Association of Insurance and Financial Conference Planners.  He resides in Scarsdale, New York.
