Developer ASHA Companies Appoints American Resort Management, LLC
to Operate The Crosswinds Resort in Lithicum Heights, Maryland;

Baltimore, Maryland (April 23, 2007) - Jay Patel, CEO/CFO of the ASHA Companies, has announced development of The Crosswinds Resort, scheduled to open in 2009. Ideally located, The Crosswinds Resort will be just minutes from the Baltimore Washington International Airport, Baltimore�s famed Inner Harbor and a short drive from Washington D.C. 

Situated on 31 acres at International Drive just off West Nursery Road, the Crosswinds Resort will feature: 4 upscale full service hotels totaling 1,200 rooms, world-class conference and meeting space, an indoor aquatics center and a 140,000 sq. ft. picturesque �City Walk� showcasing multiple restaurants, entertainment venues and specialty retailers. 

The Crosswinds Hotel will feature 350 deluxe themed suites tastefully decorated and designed to be family friendly and tech savvy. The Crosswinds Hotel will be connected to the 145,000 sq. ft. self contained indoor aquatics center featuring the East Coast�s largest collection of water slides and attractions. 

The 4 star Crowne Plaza at The Crosswinds Resort will feature 350 rooms and numerous restaurants. This full service hotel will specialize in accommodations that exceed the expectations of even the most discriminating business traveler. The Crowne Plaza Hotel will be connected to the 120,000 sq. ft. Crosswinds Conference Center, which will showcase a 40,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, one of the largest free-spanning ballrooms on the East Coast, over 20 break-out rooms, a 200 seat symposium theatre with tomorrow�s technology, and a junior ballroom / exhibit hall. 

The resort will include over 140,000 sq. ft. of restaurant, entertainment and retail venues, including 8 themed and specialty restaurants from upscale casual family-style Italian, seafood, sports bar and grill to 5 star fine dining; a 25,000 sq. ft. Health Club, a 5,000 sq. ft. world-class Day Spa, 10,000 sq. ft. family entertainment center, and boutique specialty shops. Completing the resort�s hotel options will be a 200 room Intercontinental Hotel Indigo and a 300 room full service all suites extended stay hotel.
