Details: Plans call for a new complex, to be connected
to the existing Sheraton hotel by an elevated walkway across Russell Street,
including a 204-room Westin Hotel, 19,000 square feet of conference space,
retail space, 21 condominiums and a 743-space parking garage.

PROJECT NEWS/NOTES
November 30, 2004. Project endorsed by the City Council in late
November.
June 3, 2005. Sheraton Hotel developers said they are ready to
begin the city approval process for the project.
February 22, 2007. Design approved by the Historic District Commission
in February 2007.
March 20, 2007. HarborCorp filed its formal application for the
project on 3/15/2007, which the Technical Advisory Committee will review
at its meeting on 4/3/2007 at 2 p.m.
