PAPAGAYO, Costa Rica (April 23, 2007)
Kirchert Pakonen Development and Regent Hotels & Resorts have selected
the internationally-renowned spa consultancy Blu Spas to create and manage
the luxury spa at La Punta Papagayo, a new 60-acre, five-star resort development
featuring a luxury Regent hotel, private villas, estate homes and a retail
village. Blu Spas has been a pioneer in creating luxury spas that
capture the beauty and serenity of indigenous settings, paired with exceptional
therapies also influenced by local cultures and environments.
Blu Spas is a great match for La Punta Papagayo,
said Blaine Kirchert of Kirchert Pakonen Development. We stated
from the beginning that one of our key goals was to introduce a level of
spa services and treatments never before seen in Costa Rica, and we are
delighted that Blu Spas is on board to help us achieve that goal.
Blu Spas is the world leader in creating customized luxury spas for the
most discerning international clientele.
Founded
in 2001 by Doug Chambers and Cary Collier, the Blu Spas team has designed

with an eye toward creating the ultimate sensory sanctuary.
The Guanacaste shoreline is one of the most
beautiful natural settings in the world, said Blu Spas founder Cary Collier.
With this lush setting and the rich local culture to guide and inspire
us, our goal is nothing less than to create the perfect retreat for our
guests as they seek beauty, purity, relaxation and renewal.
