Planned Westin and Element Hotels in Chantilly, Virginia |
LAS COLINAS, Texas, April 18, 2007 - Access Hotel Management, a hospitality
management and consulting firm, announced today that is has been retained
by Commonwealth Centre Investors, LLC, an affiliate of BPG Properties,
Ltd., to manage the company's two new hotels to be built in Chantilly,
VA. The 211-room Westin Chantilly and the 123-room Element Hotel are part
of Commonwealth's master planned development, "Commonwealth Centre," located
in the largest undeveloped parcels of land in Westfield's International
Corporate Center. Construction will commence in May 2008 with the opening
slated for spring 2009.
The Westin Chantilly will feature an upscale restaurant, bar, Westin WORKOUT Powered by Reebok Gym, business center and approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting space. Guestrooms are equipped with detailed amenities such as the brand's signature Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath, a 31" flat panel LCD television, and spacious interiors with upscale soft goods. The Element Hotel will reflect the brand's signature urban contemporary atmosphere. Guestrooms will emulate the modern urban residences found in many top U.S. cities. Details include clean lines, superior appliances, specialized closet systems, and cosmopolitan decor. The property will also include 1,000 square feet of meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, business center and a restaurant featuring healthy dining options. Access Hotel Management ("AHM") has been appointed to handle all aspects
of property management including general operations of the hotels as well
as food and beverage outlets. AHM will also oversee the development and
opening of both properties.
