amid springtime cheers and festive revelry. Guests and hotel employees,
along with their family and friends, gathered for a ceremonial unveil of

IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan was formed on 1 December 2006 as the hotel operating joint venture of IHG, the worlds largest hotel group by number of rooms, and ANA, Japans leading airline. As announced recently, ANA InterContinental Tokyo is the first of 13 hotels across Japan which the company will co-brand and enhance by 2009. Other hotels in the companys network are also expected to co-brand. Chris Moloney, chief executive officer, IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan,
said: This hotel is a great representation of the ANA InterContinental
co-brand. Its the result of teamwork and cooperation, and the combination
of unique strengths that both companies bring to the partnership. As the
pace of co-branding continues, our hotels will gain more of an international
flavour while still maintaining the essence of Japanese hospitality that
has made ANA the number one hotel brand in Japan.
