Stonebridge Companies Completes Conversion of the Former
Four Points by Sheraton Denver University to the 240-room
Courtyard by Marriott Denver Cherry Creek

Denver, Colorado March 20, 2007 Stonebridge Companies opened the 240-room Courtyard by Marriott Denver Cherry Creek on Monday, March 5, 2007.  Located at 1475 South Colorado Boulevard, the Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Stonebridge Companies and affiliates.

The Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek offers guests convenient access to downtown Denver, the Colorado Convention Center, the Cherry Creek Shopping District and the University of Denver.  President and CEO, Navin C. Dimond stated that the Courtyard Cherry Creek Market is an exciting market for us to enter and offers the amenities that will meet and exceed the evolving needs of the corporate traveler.

The Courtyard has redesigned its public space.  The new concept includes, a business library featuring individual workstations with high-speed data ports and ergonomic chairs; a pantry-style, 24-hour grab and go food and beverage area called The Market, and a lounge area where guests can work, meet and dine in a relaxing setting.

The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Cherry Creek was formally known as the Cherry Creek Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Denver University.  The hotel was subsequently closed in order to undergo a comprehensive multi-million dollar redevelopment and refurbishment program.

The 12-story hotel offers five meeting rooms with 6,000 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions of up to 250.   The meeting space features the Skyline ballroom, offering scenic, panoramic Denver skyline views a perfect backdrop for all social receptions. Other guest facilities and services include the Courtyard Cafe restaurant, serving breakfast, an indoor swimming pool with whirlpool spa, exercise room, guest laundry, and business library.

Courtyard guest rooms feature either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a seating area with sofa bed or oversized chair, a large, well-lit work desk and two telephones equipped with data ports.  The Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek features 10 suites with two queen-size beds, refrigerator and microwave and 10 king-size suites.  Other in-room amenities include coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with ironing board, and cable television with a free premium movie channel. The hotel is the latest hotel to offer Marriotts new, more luxurious bedding, which features plusher mattresses, custom comforters, crisp linens, fluffier pillows, and a new, fresh, white look.
