AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 1, 2007) - Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) announced that exhibit space for the 2007 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) is 93 percent sold out, making it vital for interested companies to reserve space. HITEC, produced by HFTP, will be June 25 - 28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. In addition to the 300+ companies expected to exhibit, HITEC 2007 will also feature for a second time, GUESTROOM 2010, a model hotel room featuring cutting-edge guestroom technology, and the new Club Technology Pavilion.

"HITEC is known as a once-a-year event when companies with hospitality technology products and services come together under one roof to present their most current offerings," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, HFTP CEO and executive vice president. "For this reason, hospitality I.T. professionals choose HITEC to research and purchase technology for their properties' I.T. departments. It is a great opportunity for exhibitors to capture this interested audience."

HITEC exhibitors feature the most current hospitality products and services for audio/visual, energy management and conservation, Internet, information processing, security, fire safety and telecommunications. Companies offer wireless services, in-room movies, reservation systems, self check-in and check-out devices, call center services, guest room telephones and much more. Also, exhibitors will use HITEC 2007 to announce new products and alliances.

"HITEC proves to be a valuable marketing event for PrinterOn," said John Heldur Kaarid, director of business development for PrinterOn Corporation, a HITEC 2007 exhibitor. "HITEC provides an excellent opportunity for us to not only develop relationships with qualified new customers and partners, but also get valuable face-to-face time with our existing ones."

New this year is the Club Technology Pavilion, a special area with hands-on displays of the latest in emerging club-specific technology. In addition, GUESTROOM 2010 will return to the HITEC exhibit hall for a second run, after debuting to maximum capacity crowds at HITEC 2006. GUESTROOM 2010 is a model guestroom featuring some of the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room, including extreme innovations like a bed without a mattress, and the more practical self-cleaning shower.

The number of HITEC exhibits has increased significantly from 252 booths in 1993 to nearly 700 booths in 2007. In just the past two years the exhibit floor has increased almost 12 percent to accommodate interested exhibitors and provide attendees access to more companies. HITEC attendance has also greatly increased from its small beginning with approximately 38 attendees for its 1972 debut to a planned attendance of over 4,000 for this year's show.

In addition to the exposition, HITEC will offer over 40 education sessions led by industry experts. A complete list of exhibiting companies is available on the HITEC web site, along with online registration and a detailed schedule of educational programming.

Companies interested in exhibiting should contact HFTP's marketing account manager, Laura Huffman, at (800) 646-4387 or 001 (512) 249-5333 x25 for information.
