| NAPA, Calif. (March 28, 2007) � The Carneros Inn, the luxury
PlumpJack Group resort located in the heart of Napa Valley�s Carneros winegrowing
district, has announced the spring opening of its new spa and fitness center
� a combined 5,000 square feet of facilities that include a significantly
expanded spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, Motion Studio and retail
space, all designed to meet the needs of hotel guests seeking a comprehensive
lifestyle experience.
�Our expanded spa and fitness center provides the perfect setting for fitness, relaxation and renewal,� said Jeannie Jarnot, spa director for The Spa at The Carneros Inn. �Whether luxuriating in the soothing waters of our exclusive Huichica Creek Baths or participating in our yoga, mediation and movement classes, The Carneros Inn�s new lifestyle facilities are the ideal way to round out the picture-perfect wine country experience.� The Spa at The Carneros Inn, which was awarded the prestigious Mobile 4-Star rating, will comprise nine indoor treatment rooms offering wraps, massages and facials inspired by wine country traditions -- Harvest, Minerals, Cellars, Farms and Creeks -- and incorporate indigenous ingredients such as Chardonnay Oil, Carneros Grown/Pressed Olive Oil, Goat Milk and Goat Butter. The Spa will also feature five outdoor treatment rooms, two couples� rooms and the highly-anticipated Huichica Creek Baths, custom-designed hydrotherapy tubs inspired by the nearby Huichica Creek. Set amid the beautiful natural setting of the Carneros Valley, the Spa�s new outdoor facilities include a family pool and an adjacent children�s pool as well as a 15-person hot tub. The large outdoor deck and convenient poolside snack bar create an ideal setting for family poolside lounging. Couples can relax separately at the Hilltop swimming pool with panoramic vineyard views. For guests who prefer active rejuvenation, the fitness center will feature state-of-the-art equipment including elliptical trainers, treadmills, bikes, step climbers, circuit training systems, Pilates reformer and free weights. The new Motion Studio will offer yoga, movement classes and meditation. For fans of outdoor exercise, the fitness center offers organized morning runs and stretching classes. The new PlumpJackSport onsite retail store features fashion-forward merchandise, designer streetwear, technical sportswear lines, and chic accessories. PlumpJackSport features brands such as Tory Burch, Laundry by Shelli Segal, John Varvatos for Converse, Ben Sherman and Michelle Odabash. The Spa is also expanding its Group Wellness Services which will include Garden Meditation, Meditation Retreats and Candlelight Stretches. Local practitioners will also offer classes in jewelry making, creative writing retreats, olive growing an pressing, astrology yoga and meditation retreats.
