Forming Twenty4seven Hotels |
| NEWPORT BEACH, CA, JANUARY 19, 2007: Drew Hardy and David Wani,
two former real estate executives with Tarsadia Hotels, have teamed up
to form Twenty4seven Hotels, a hotel investment, development and management
firm based in Newport Beach, CA . The newly formed company already owns
and operates 4 existing hotels, with 2 more under development. The company
provides a full range of investment, management and development services
for its equity partners. The growth plans for the company are centered
on the upscale focused service segment with a geographic concentration
on the Western United States.
Drew Hardy, a 10 year veteran of Tarsadia Hotels, left his position as VP of Real Estate with Tarsadia in 2004 to pursue hotel development and investments on his own behalf. Prior to joining Tarsadia in 1994, Hardy was partner in a San Diego based brokerage firm that specialized in hotel transactions. David Wani departed Tarsadia in October 2006, having been with the company since 1999, where he played a major role in underwriting millions of dollars in hotel equity and debt for the company annually. Prior to joining Tarsadia, Wani worked for Landauer Associates specializing in financial and operational analysis, valuation, and market feasibility of hospitality assets. |
