Shell Management Hawaii, Inc. Named One of Best
Places to Work in Hawaii
NORTHBROOK, IL January 24, 2007 Shell Management Hawaii, Inc. was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Hawaii in a highly prestigious annual competition.

The third annual event honored Hawaiian businesses in its Best Places To Work In Hawaii program, sponsored by Hawaii Business Magazine, the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, and Best Companies Group. This was the first year that Shell Management Hawaii entered the competition.

Twenty businesses were winners in the small/medium-size category and there were 15 winners in the larger group, as determined by the number of employees. With 300 employees, Shell Management Hawaii was honored in the large category. The actual ranking of the companies will be profiled and published in a special April 2007 issue of Hawaii Business Magazine. The organization does not release the total number of participants who entered to maintain the anonymity of the companies who do not make the final list.

Participation in the program required each organization to go through a comprehensive two-part workplace assessment which involved surveying employers and employees, as well as taking an inventory of the company benefits, policies and offerings. This information obtained was processed and analyzed by Modern Think, LLC.

The employees responses accounted for roughly two thirds of the assessment with the employers answers determining the remaining third of the assessment.

With executive offices located in Kailua-Kona, Shell Management Hawaii directs the management of five vacation ownership resorts on the Hawaiian Islands developed by Shell Vacations LLC and now part of the Shell Vacations Club.
