Principals of Hop Kiln Winery Acquire the Kenwood Inn
and Spa, Sonoma County, California
HEALDSBURG, Calif., Jan. 9, 2007 - Kenwood Inn Holdings LLC has purchased the Kenwood Inn and Spa from Terry and Roseann Grimm who developed this amazing property from a one-time antique shop. Nestled among the wineries of Sonoma Valley, the Kenwood Inn and Spa is both a Sonoma County icon and world class hotel and spa, evoking the charm of a classic, Mediterranean villa. Kenwood Inn Holdings LLC is affiliated with another well known Sonoma County icon property: historic Hop Kiln Winery located in the heart of Russian River Valley.
The inn currently has thirty rooms located in three separate courtyards, spanning two and one-half acres and offering sweeping views of
the beautiful estate vineyards lining Sonoma Valley. Every guestroom features its own unique decor, artwork and furnishings. Kenwood Inn's spa, one of only three Caudalie(R) spas worldwide, offers a full menu of exclusive treatments and Vinotherapy products, combining the latest scientific discoveries involving grapevine extracts.
In the near future, six already-approved luxury guest suites will be added to the inn. The food and beverage program will be greatly enhanced to include Chef Renzo Veronese's la vera cucina (the real kitchen), featuring authentic Italian/continental cuisine using seasonal and farm-fresh ingredients, paired with the finest Sonoma County wines.

We are excited about our management team and intend to apply our trademark focus on utmost care and quality in furthering Kenwood Inn and Spa as Sonoma County's premiere wine county stay."

In the November 2006 issue of Luxury Spa Finder, it was declared "6th out of 50 top spas in the world." Beginning December 2006, Columbia Hospitality, Inc. of Seattle is managing operations of the inn.
