Jenny Cast Named General Manager and Amy Magdon Named
Director of Sales at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in the
Village of Lansing, New York
Latham, NY � January 10, 2007 --- A new management team has been introduced at the new Homewood Suites by Hilton in the Village of Lansing, New York. General Manager Jenny Cast and Director of Sales Amy Magdon will oversee all the operational, sales, and marketing aspects of the hotel, which is currently under construction and slated for a summer 2007 opening. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., with headquarters in Waterford, CT, will professionally manage and operate the new hotel. 

As General Manager, Cast will be responsible for all phases of the hotel�s operations and management of personnel. The new Homewood Suites Ithaca will be a three-story hotel which will include 91 suites, a breakfast buffet, indoor pool, fitness room, and meeting facilities. The hotel will employ approximately 35 full-time associates. Cast has been with Waterford Hotel Group since April of 2003, serving as General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Norman, OK. Previous to joining Waterford, her experience includes three years as General Manager at the Residence Inn in Tulsa, OK, as well as extensive pre-opening and conversion training of hotels for Tharaldson Enterprises in Fargo, ND. Cast is a native of Norman, OK, where she attended both Oklahoma University and Oklahoma State University. 

Amy Magdon joins the Homewood Suites team as Director of Sales with more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her past assignments include Sales Coordinator for both the Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in Syracuse, NY, and Reservation Manager for the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel. Magdon most recently served as Director of Sales for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Liverpool, NY, a position she held for more than 4 years. She graduated from Community College of the Finger Lakes with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Hotel and Resort Management. She currently resides in Liverpool, NY.
