Farouk Rajab Appointed General Manager of the
Courtyard by Marriott, Cromwell, CT
(Cromwell, CT � January 9, 2007) --- Farouk Rajab has been appointed as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT. The property is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm currently operating 26 properties. 

Rajab will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. He started his career with Waterford in 2005 as General Manager for the Days Inn Mystic, and most recently as Rooms Division Manager at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa. Rajab has also served as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, and before joining Waterford, was the General Manager at the Best Western in Mystic. 

�Farouk has done a wonderful job for us at each of the properties he has managed, and has been well-respected by his hotel teams. We wish him great success in Cromwell,� commented Terry Bickhardt, President and COO, Operations and Marketing, for Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. 

Rajab currently resides in Pawcatuck, CT. He is highly involved his community, holding positions in numerous committees and tourism organizations in the Southeastern CT area, including the Lions Club of Mystic, the Mystic Chamber of Commerce, and the Mystic Coast and Country Group and Tourist Information Center.
