Boykin Management Company Assumes Management
of Doubletree Hotel JFK Airport, Jamaica, NY
CLEVELAND, Jan. 9, 2007 - Boykin Management Company, one of the nation's leading independent hotel and resort management companies, has been selected to manage the Doubletree Hotel JFK Airport located in  Jamaica, New York.

Conveniently located adjacent to John Kennedy International Airport, the AAA three-diamond Doubletree Hotel JFK Airport is the largest upscale commercial hotel serving the JFK Airport. Hotel amenities include the Cafe 140 restaurant, lounge, 24-hour business center, fully equipped fitness center, and complimentary 24-hour shuttle service to JFK Airport. All rooms feature luxurious Sweet Dream beds, dual-line phones, high-speed wireless Internet, cable TV, a work desk, voicemail and dataports. The hotel has eight meeting rooms with a total of 5,700 square feet of meeting and pre-function space. 
The hotel is near completion of a $6 million renovation in connection with the hotel's conversion to a Doubletree in June 2006. An additional $3 million will be invested by JFK Hotel Holdings LLC to complete the renovation program with key elements to include a majorupgrade of the entrance to the hotel, a complete overhaul of the parking garage, a new restaurant concept, and added enhancements to the guest rooms and public areas. 
JFK Hotel Holdings LLC, a partnership formed between Amaya JFK Hotel LLC (a division of Amaya Hotels & Resorts) and Boykin JFK Hotel Partners, acquired the Doubletree Hotel JFK Airport from French Quarter V LLC for an undisclosed amount. The 385-room hotel is centrally located to the John F Kennedy Airport (JFK), the top international air passenger gateway to the United States.
