ORLANDO, Fla. February 15, 2007 - The Villas of Grand Cypress
Golf Resort has promoted two veteran employees to key roles.
Both Cox and Butler joined the resort¹s staff in 1989. Cox, a graduate of the University of Central Florida, began his hospitality career at the Marriott Orlando. Butler worked in operations and sales before becoming a national sales manager. The resort just completed a multi-million renovation of all of its 146 guest rooms. The guest rooms are in villas located next to 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus signature designed golf. The resort also includes the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, the Grand Cypress Equestrian Center and the Black Swan Restaurant, which just received its 17th consecutive AAA Four Diamond rating.
