at TravelCom Res-Expo April 6, 2007, in Las Vegas WASHINGTON, DC � February 22, 2007 - The Travel Industry Association (TIA) announces the first annual TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Awards to recognize those special companies whose outstanding innovations in the areas of technology, e-commerce and distribution have transformed their business and had a broad impact across the travel industry. TIA will present the award at the forthcoming TravelCom Res-Expo Conference April 4-6, 2007, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. �We established this award to recognize the best the industry has to offer in the area of technology, e-commerce and distribution,� said Roger Dow, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Travel Industry Association. �Recipients of the first-ever TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Award will showcase the pinnacle of design, functionality, and technological achievement.� Call for Entries TIA invites companies from across the travel industry, both new and established, to submit their product and service innovations � or nominate the innovations of others � for consideration for one of two TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Awards:
