We are pleased to announce Jim and Garretts new roles within the company, and are confident these adjustments will reap great benefits for Sterling in the coming years, said Sterling Companies Board Chairman Buddy Runnels.

Both Garrett and Jim have done an exemplary job in leading our organization, and its very exciting to see the plans laid out more than a year ago proceed sooner than expected.

McNeil most recently served as The Sterling Companies president and chief operating officer. He joined the company in 1998 as a project manager for Sterling Beach in Panama City Beach, Fla. where he grew the condominium resort to a more than $1 billion development.

As chief executive officer, McNeil will oversee and manage the executive committee while taking on a key leadership role in day-to-day operations and decision-making for The Sterling Companies three divisions (development, resorts and realty).

In his new role, Olin will focus on the legal and corporate structure of Sterlings partners, developments and investments. He will also continue to serve as broker for The Sterling Companies.

Olin joined The Sterling Companies in August 2004.  Under his leadership, Sterling grew its rental management portfolio to include more than 5,500 units at 20 luxury vacation condominium resorts in three states. Olin was also instrumental in the merger of Sterlings three divisions into a fully integrated organization.
