Named a Top Hospitality Executive in Mexico Receives Key of Progress Award
The Key of Progress was created to publicly honor hospitality executives for their dedication, spirit of service, contribution to the national tourism industry and their great love of Mexico. Founded in 1975, AMAIT members nominate and select the recipients for the award. To be nominated for the award, recipients must be a Mexican national or foreigner with a history of service in Mexico�s hospitality field; contribute to the development of the hotel and restaurant industry; reflect the values of AMAIT including respect, integrity and honesty; and show creativity and capacity for innovation. As a Key of Progress recipient, Roth boasts 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Roth is a member of the Skål Club of Mexico City, a branch of Skål International � the International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals. He lives in Mexico City with his wife and their three children. He holds dual Swiss and Mexican citizenship.
