Ms. Nicholl has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions within the industry at various four and five diamond properties across North America. Her experience includes opening new hotels and convention centres like the Windsor Hilton and the multi-million dollar expansion of Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario where she held the position of Marketing Director. In addition, Ms. Nicholl previously held positions as the Director, Sales and Marketing for Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resorts in Calgary, Alberta and at the historic Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario. 

Developing and executing special events is also in her repertoire and includes the opening night reception for the Canadian premier of Andrew Lloyd Webber's play 'Aspects of Love', and a 5,000-person opening night event for Meeting Planners International World Education Conference in Toronto. Ms. Nicholl was appointed by the former Ontario Lieutenant Governor, Hillary Weston, to the inaugural board of directors of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, a public sector, private sector partnership developed to direct and lead the marketing of Ontario's vast tourism offering

Returning to her hometown of Windsor, Ms. Nicholl is excited about the success the convention centre will bring to the city. "We have a beautiful product in a beautiful city and with the addition of our new hotel and conference centre, we will be one of the largest convention facilities in Ontario outside of the Greater Toronto Area. With our world class gaming facility we have a WOW factor that other destinations can only dream about."
