Ltd. today announced it will install the DelphiMulti-Property
Edition sales and catering
solution from Newmarket International
at four marquee InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) properties in the United
Kingdom.
BDL Sales & Marketing Director, Nikhil Gupta expected that the new system will enable BDL to boost revenue and profits by linking the sales and management systems of its hotel group for seamless cross selling of rooms and facilities. Sales managers at each property will be able to instantly refer customers to the appropriate partner properties based on the specific needs of the inquiring meeting planner. BDL anticipates it will capture a larger share of proposed business through faster response to group inquiries while streamlining the management and delivery of services. IHG franchisees in the U.K., with a growing portfolio of hotels. The firm's
agreement with Newmarket involves four key BDL properties: The Crowne Plaza
London Docklands, the Crowne Plaza Marlow, the Holiday Inn London Heathrow,
and the proposed Holiday Inn London Chessington, which is due to open early
summer 2007. The deployment will integrate all four hotels with IHG's Central
Reservations Office, a critical advantage in capturing leads to be sent
from IHG instantly and electronically.
