The Snyder Hotel Group Converting 210 room Former Holiday Inn
to a Lexington Collection Property in Montgomery, Alabama
(Cleveland, OH) – December 15, 2006 – Steve Belmonte, President, CEO and Partner of Vantage Hospitality’s Lexington Collection, recently added a former Holiday Inn in Montgomery, AL to his rapidly growing directory of upscale membership hotels within The Lexington Collection.

The Lexington Hotel Montgomery is owned by the Snyder Hotel Group and operated by Forbes Hamilton Management Company.  The property’s 210 guest rooms were recently renovated and extensive plans for renovations to the public areas, the atrium, and function space will begin in early 2007.

“We’re excited to become affiliated with a national brand that has a quality reputation for providing guests with a ‘home away from home’ experience,” said Tom Johnsen, President of Forbes Hamilton Management Company. “Because our guests are our top priority, our goal is to bring the new Lexington Hotel Montgomery to the high standards we maintain throughout our company. Together, Forbes Hamilton and Lexington Collection will create a product for the Montgomery market that the entire community will be proud of.”

“The Montgomery community is an excellent location for a Lexington Hotel,” said Belmonte.  “The city of Montgomery and the people within it provide a warm and inviting welcome to all business and leisure travelers.  Lexington takes great pride in becoming active within the communities in which its hotels reside, and we are looking forward to becoming an important part of Montgomery.”

Premiering to the public in the second quarter of 2006, The Lexington Collection is the only hotel membership brand for upper to upper-mid properties in the three to four star lodging segments.  Lexington is part of the award-winning Vantage Hospitality Group, the 12th largest hotel company worldwide, and the only hotel company to be included on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies.
