(Vancouver, BC) - December 20, 2006 - These two little letters, "PS", is all that travel agents will need to know to quickly and efficiently book rooms for their clients. In July 2006 Sandman Hotels Inns & Suites launched a new chain code PS, through the Global Distribution System (GDS), providing travel agents access to all its 32 properties across Canada.

The new "PS" code will make it quicker than ever for travel agents to book rooms. To celebrate the new system, all travel agents who utilize the PS code between July 1 to December 31, 2006, will be entered to win a $5,000 cash prize. Contest ends soon!!

"We are continuously developing systems to make it more convenient for travel agents to book with us," said Salim Kassam, Sandman's VP of marketing. "Implementing a new code on the GDS is just one example of our commitment to the agents. This will make it easier for agents to find our properties for their clients, and for the agents to take advantage of our industry leading 13% commission structure"
