Prior to joining the hotel as a bellman, Pastora was bellman at The Intercontinental Hotel, one of the most prestigious five-star hotels in Latin America.  In May 2000, he was awarded �Bell Person of the Year� from among 150 South Florida hotels.  Outside of the hotel, Pastora is involved with the Southern Florida Concierge Association and is editor of the City of Coral Gables Concierge Index.  Joaquin also won the �Power of One� award from Omni Hotels in 1999 and 2002.

The four-diamond Colonnade Hotel is located in the heart of Coral Gables. The hotel currently is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to convert to the Westin brand January 4, 2007.
