Riu Hotels & Resorts plans to introduce two
new properties in 2007 bringing its total
Mallorca, Spain (September 21, 2006) – RIU will open the doors to its 13th resort in Mexico and its second in Los Cabos, the Riu Santa Fe, at the end of 2007.
Earlier this year, in Summer of 2007, the company will make its debut in a new destination with the opening of the Riu Palace Aruba in Aruba. These two new properties exemplify RIU’s continued growth and affirm its deep commitment to offering its clients the finest and highest variety of resort experiences.

Situated in close proximity to the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas and just outside the bustling downtown, the Riu Santa Fe will be the largest RIU resort ever built, featuring over 900 luxurious guestrooms and suites, an array of exceptional facilities and numerous theme restaurants and bars. Designed in a distinctive architectural style that reflects the City of “Santa Fé “, the hotel will offer a variety of all-inclusive amenities and activities as well as RIU’s legendary personalized service. Ideally suited to meet the needs of business guests, Riu Santa Fe will also include three distinct conference rooms with a capacity of up to 350 guests.

The second property to open will be the Riu Palace Aruba. Located on

new resort will be RIU’s first in Aruba. Designed to be a "palace " in
every way, the Riu Palace Aruba will feature beautiful architecture and
exquisite décor and details. The Riu Palace Aruba will feature 450
luxurious guestrooms and suites, numerous theme restaurants and bars and
a private stretch of beach reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
