Seven Executives Appointed to Management Team at
Outrigger's
421-suite Embassy Suites Hotel - Waikiki Beach Walk

HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII - September 26, 2006 - Robert Yeoman, General
Manager of Embassy Suites Hotel-Waikiki Beach Walk(tm), is pleased to announce
the appointment of several key positions for the soon to open Embassy Suite
Hotel- Waikiki Beach Walk(tm). The all-suite hotel, which is owned and
operated by Outrigger Enterprises Group, is part of the company's $460
million Waikiki Beach Walk(tm) redevelopment and is scheduled to open in
December 2006.
Joining the management team are Lori Ortiz, newly named Assistant General
Manager-Back of House; Daniel Nakasone, Assistant General Manager-Front
of House; Mark Burson, Assistant General Manager-Food & Beverage; Reuben
Nakagawa, Chief Engineer; Colleen Tanioka, Human Resources Manager; Carol
Kahili, Executive Housekeeper; and Sandra Sakka, Controller.
Lori Ortiz
In her role as Assistant General Manager-Back of House, Ortiz will
oversee the hotel's Housekeeping department while assisting with overall
hotel operations. Ortiz has over 15 years of experience with Outrigger
and has worked her way up from the bell department to her most recent position
as Assistant General Manager of The Best Western Plaza Hotel, an Outrigger
managed property.
Daniel Nakasone
As Assistant General Manager-Front of House, Nakasone will be responsible
for the direct management of the Front Office, Bell and PBX departments
while assisting with overall hotel operations. Nakasone has over twenty
years of hotel operations and front office management experience. He joins
the Embassy management team from the Doubletree Alana Hotel Waikiki. Prior
to the Doubletree, Nakasone spent seven years managing an all suite hotel
in Los Angeles, California after completing Embassy Suites' Suite Management
Development Program. Nakasone earned a bachelors degree in Political Science
from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mark Burson
In his role as Assistant General Manager-Food & Beverage, Burson
will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage
operations at the hotel, in addition to assisting with other hotel operations
as needed. Burson is no stranger to Outrigger having held the position
of Director of Food & Beverage at Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort for
the past several years. Prior to joining Outrigger, Burson worked for various
distinguished hotels worldwide including Hanalei Bay Resort in Princeville
Kauai, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Westin Resort St. John, US Virgin Islands,
Petaling Jaya Hilton International, Malaysia, Guam Hilton International,
and Dusseldorf Hilton International, Germany.
Reuben Nakagawa
As Chief Engineer, Nakagawa will be responsible for the day-to-day
maintenance and engineering operations of the new Embassy Suites Hotel-Waikiki
Beach Walk. Nakagawa has an extensive background with Outrigger and OHANA
Hotels that spans 20 years. Seventeen years were spent in a variety of
engineering positions with the company's Lewers Street properties, including
the former OHANA Waikiki Tower and OHANA Waikiki Village hotels, which
have been redeveloped as the twin towers of the new Embassy Suites Hotel-Waikiki
Beach Walk. His most recent position was Renovations Manager for the Waikiki
Beach Walk project.
Colleen Tanioka
As Human Resources Manager, Tanioka will be responsible for all aspects
of the hotel's Human Resources activities, including staffing, employee
relations, employee training, and acting as liaison between the Embassy
Suites Hotel-Waikiki Beach Walk and the Human Resources Service Center
within the Outrigger Enterprises Group. Tanioka has been with Outrigger
for the past 20 years and began her career in the accounting department
at the OHANA Maile Sky Court.
Carol Kahili
In her role as Executive Housekeeper, Kahili will be responsible for
the cleanliness and upkeep of the 421-suite hotel. Kahili has been with
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts since 1986 and has worked most of her career
in the housekeeping department. Kahili moves to the Embassy Suites Hotel-Waikiki
Beach Walk from her most recnet position as Housekeeping Manager for the
OHANA East Hotel.
Sandra Sakka
As Controller, Sakka will be responsible for overseeing the overall
financial aspect of the property. Sakka has previously held the position
of Assistant Controller in her 17 years of service for Outrigger. Most
recently, Sakka was the Controller for Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach.
Prior to Outrigger, Sakka worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand,
now known as Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Sakka holds a Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting from the University
of Hawaii, Manoa.
