to Vice Chairman of the Board
.
SANTA BARBARA, CA (September 19, 2006) Two executive moves at InfoGenesis headline InfoShare 2006, the companys annual user conference that is being hosted this week at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Today, the countrys leading hospitality technology company, InfoGenesis, promoted Mark Tapling to President and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Terry Cunningham, who moves to the position of Vice Chairman of the Board.

What weve be able to accomplish over the past year has been remarkable, said Mark Tapling, new President and CEO of InfoGenesis. Weve undergone major restructuring in terms of personnel and technology, as well as enhanced our strategy. In all this, weve created a vision of what hospitality technology should look like in the future. Its based on the concept that guest experience management capabilities within hospitality can fuel increased profitability for our customers. We are committed to this vision and to creating solutions that will help our customers achieve their highest potential.

Tapling joined InfoGenesis earlier this year as the companys Chief Operating Officer. He brings a wealth of experience to his position at InfoGenesis, where he will continue to drive the companys guest experience management (GEM) vision, which was pioneered by his immediate predecessor, Cunningham. Taplings proficiency in supervising global operations, launching new markets and improving customer relationships continue to extend the market leadership of InfoGenesis.

Before Tapling joined InfoGenesis, he was the CEO of Everypath, the leading enterprise-level mobile applications company. There, Tapling led the company to unprecedented success--establishing the mobile task automation category and shipping products to more than 100 customers in 26 countries around the world. Under his direction, Everypath became the recipient of Frost & Sullivans Mobile Application of the Year for Life Sciences award.

Earlier in his career, Tapling managed international operations for analytics company Comshare and held executive management positions at Soft-Switch, Inc., as well as Lotus Development (IBM). Tapling also earned significant industry recognition when serving as the CEO of ServiceWare Technologies--successfully leading their Initial Public Offering.  During his tenure, he was named one of Software Magazines 100 People to Watch in Knowledge Management and was given PNC Banks Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Cunningham, who has been with InfoGenesis since January 2005, has more than two decades of technology industry experience. Prior to joining InfoGenesis, Cunningham served as a board member and angel investor for several companies, including Guest Technologies, ProClarity, NGRAIN Technology and Coral8.

Cunningham has a proven history of leading companies to success, beginning with the founding of Crystal Decision in 1984. From there he created Crystal Reports, the industrys leading reporting tool, and formed a strategic partnership with Microsoft. Following the sale of Crystal Reports to Seagate Technology, Cunningham became President of Seagate Software and expertly guided 11 key mergers and acquisitions that totaled more than $300 million. He orchestrated one of the largest software mergers ever undertaken--the fusion of Seagates Network and Storage Management Group with VERITAS Software in 1999--and subsequently served for a year as President and COO of VERITAS. As COO, he oversaw 3,500 employees and close to $700 million in revenue.

InfoGenesis has provided technology solutions for over 20 years. During that time, clients have experienced high return on investment through innovative technology, industry-leading service and receiving timely business data. InfoGenesis was acquired by Warburg Pincus in 2004 and is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. Offices are operated in Las Vegas, Nevada and Princeton, New Jersey.
