managing director of Velvet Chainsaw Consulting and former president of
Conferon, Inc. and ExpoExchange, to the company's Board of Directors.

Dave is a business improvement consultant that specializes in the meeting and event industry. His company assists organizations in realizing top and bottom line growth by delivering customer focused solutions in business development, best practice and process improvement, strategic planning and training. Dave is certified in Lean Processes & DFSS for Six Sigma. He is also a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). He is a frequent speaker and author, including having a regular column in Convene magazine on Performance Excellence.
Before venturing down the consulting road, Dave worked for Conferon Global Services, Inc. for more than 20 years, most recently as President of the two largest operating divisions - Conferon and ExpoExchange. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing more than 500 employees and 80% of the company's revenue. During Dave's tenure at Conferon, he helped lead the exponential growth of the company while attaining operational excellence.
