Mr. Lawrence was most recently Managing Director-Australia for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts where he was responsible for the company's business activities within Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Bali.

"Dave has done a tremendous job as our Gold Coast-based managing director for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific," said Barry Wallace, Executive Vice President of Hospitality Services for Outrigger Enterprises Group. "Under his direction, Outrigger has enjoyed solid growth in Australia's premier coastal tourist centers, along with New Zealand, Fiji and Bali. His contribution to our Pacific expansion has been immense."

In his new and expanded role as Senior Vice President of Operations, Mr. Lawrence will continue to oversee Outrigger's operations throughout Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Guam and Tahiti. He will also oversee Outrigger's Condominium Collection and assist in developing strategies and connections with Outrigger's future expansion plans outside of Hawaii.

"While Dave will continue to maintain a regular presence on the Gold Coast, his new Hawaii-based appointment will enable greater synergies between Outrigger's international operating business and marketing divisions to help with future expansion opportunities," Mr. Wallace said.

Prior to joining Outrigger, Mr. Lawrence was vice president of operations and development with Marc Resorts Hawaii. Before that, he was a member of Outrigger's Hawaii executive team for six years as vice president of operations, owner services and condominium management.

Mr. Lawrence left Hawaii in 1994 to join Outrigger's California affiliate, Outrigger Lodging Services, and was general manager of the Doubletree Hotel Santa Rosa and area director of operations-Northern California. In 1996 he returned to Hawaii to join Marc Resorts. A 30 year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mr. Lawrence has also held a variety of management positions on the U.S. Mainland and in Hawaii with Holiday Inns, Inc., and Colony Hotels & Resorts.

During his career, Mr. Lawrence has earned a number of prestigious corporate awards, including Outrigger Lodging Services' Presidents Award and Colony Resorts' Excellent Overall Performance Award.
