 Gencom Group Names Troy Bennett Senior Vice President
of Asset Management for its Luxury Hotel Portfolio

MIAMI, June 9, 2006 � Gencom Group, an investment and development firm, has named Troy Bennett Senior Vice President of Asset Management for its luxury portfolio.

With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Bennett will be the asset manager of Gencom�s Ritz-Carlton portfolio responsible for oversight of operations to include improving top line revenues and bottom line performance; evaluating and supervising recurring capital projects, ROI projects, major renovations and expansions; and implementing and overseeing the company�s new thrust in upgrading its food and beverage operations with third party restaurateurs.

Prior to joining Gencom, Bennett was Vice President of Asset Management with Host Hotels and Resorts in Bethesda, Md., where he was responsible for managing the acquisition, disposition, development, repositioning, master planning, operations and budgeting for a billion dollar portfolio of luxury hotel brands including Ritz-Carlton. Before this, he was managing director at Benchmark International Hospitality in Houston, where he created and developed a new division of luxury independent hotels. Previously, he was managing director with the ultra-luxury Grand Theme Hotels Group in Orlando, Fla.   

Active in the business community, Bennett has served on several hospitality-  related boards, a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association and has taken several continuing educational classes at Harvard Law School and Cornell University.
