 Lars Wagner Appointed General Manager of the 470 room
InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hôtel

PARIS, FRANCE (July 6, 2006) � The InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hôtel appoints Lars Wagner as General Manager of this Parisian landmark hotel. Wagner will look after the operational management of the 470-room luxury property and its famous restaurant, the Café de la Paix. Wagner was previously the Hotel Manager of the new Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche. 
 
With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Wagner is a veteran of the luxury hotel industry.  He has held positions at hotels around the world, including the Four Seasons Hotel in Prague, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago and the Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok. Wagner holds a Diploma in Hotel Administration (Hotelkaufmann) from the School for Hotel and Restaurant Operation in Hamburg.  
 
Wagner replaces Didier Boidin as General Manager.  Boidin has been promoted to the position of Managing Director and will continue to oversee all of the InterContinental hotels in France and the Mediterranean region. 
 
With its 470 bedrooms and 21 reception rooms, including the historic and opulent Salon Opéra, the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hôtel is the largest traditional deluxe hotel in the French capital. The hotel recently underwent a massive renovation of all its guest rooms and public areas.
