| IRVINE, Calif., July 20, 2006 � The Hilton Irvine is redefining comfort.
The 289-room hotel in the heart of the Irvine business district reinvented
itself this summer upon completion of a $10 million renovation.
The renovations, which took place throughout the hotel, combine luxury with comfort. The guestrooms now feature the Hilton Serenity Bed� which includes the Suite Dreams® mattress and box springs, Super Topper mattress pad, down duvet, Touch of Down® pillows, 250-thread count sheets and duvet cover, as well as custom decorative bed throws and bolster pillows. In addition, the hotel has the Hilton Serenity Bath� package featuring Crabtree & Evelyn�s La Source bath amenities. �We are thrilled to bring these enhancements to the Hilton Irvine. The renovations complement our magnificent resort-like setting,� General Manager Ted Holmquist said. �All changes were made with our guests� comfort in mind.� In addition to guestroom renovations, the Crystal Ballroom � a 7,320 Square foot ballroom - underwent over $1 million in renovations. The renovations also include: lobby refurbishment, new concierge lounge, new patio terrace, new pool shower, installation of digital elevators, addition of a new Executive Level floor, new skylights in the lobby, new roof, new air-conditioners, and new laundry equipment. �The changes to the property reflect our dedication to the guests, and complement our decision to make the Hilton Irvine 100% smoke-free,� Holmquist said. The hotel�s smoke-free status became effective following the floor-to-ceiling
refurbishment of all guest rooms, ensuring a clean and healthy environment
for guests.
