Benchmark Appoints Malgorzata Bardzik-Cox Controller
for the North Maple Inn, Basking Ridge, New Jersey

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, July 2006 ... Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Malgorzata Bardzik-Cox as controller for the Four Diamond North Maple Inn of Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  Dan Santiago, general manager of property, made the announcement.

"I'm so pleased to welcome Malgorzata to our hotel," said Mr. Santiago.  "She brings a first-rate background in hospitality finance to her new role and several years of experience with Benchmark Hospitality.  We look forward to her active leadership in the Accounting function here at North Maple Inn."

For the past two years, Ms. Bardzik-Cox was Benchmark's controller at Turtle Bay Resort, the landmark property located on Oahu's North Shore in Hawaii.  During this period, the resort successfully completed a comprehensive $60 million renovation program.

Ms. Bardzik-Cox originally joined Turtle Bay Resort in 2002 assuming the role of assistant controller.  While there, the resort garnered 2004 and 2005 awards for the best financial performance from Benchmark Hospitality International. 

Bardzik-Cox came to the property following several years in the Washington, DC, market, where she served as director of Six Sigma, Black Belt, responsible for The St. Regis Hotel and Capitol Hill Suites Hotel, establishing and monitoring Six Sigma projects for the properties.  Six Sigma is a system-wide approach to customer relations and business decisions with the goal of embracing change, calculating risk and generating innovation to drive value and facilitate financial returns.   Prior to this, she served in positions of increasing responsibility within the Accounting department of The St. Regis Hotel. 

Ms. Bardzik-Cox also has considerable experience in financial accounting for hotels in Poland and Russia, having worked for many years for Radisson Hotels & Resorts in these countries.

Bardzik-Cox is a graduate of the University of Szczecin, located in Szczecin, Poland, where she earned her Master of Science Degree in Economics and graduated magna cum laude.  She is relocating to the Basking Ridge area in New Jersey.
