Financial Controller for French Lick Resort Casino |

Woodlands (Houston), Texas, July 27, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has appointed Brenda Sorley as financial controller for French Lick Resort
Casino, a $382 million historic restoration and casino development project
located in French Lick, Indiana. Scott Spurlock, general manager,
made the announcement.
"It gives me great pleasure to welcome Brenda to our strategic leadership team," said Mr. Spurlock. "She brings a wealth of financial expertise to her new role and we look forward to her leadership as financial controller of French Lick Resort Casino." A certified public accountant, Ms. Sorley was most recently finance and business control manager for Tetra Pak, a global packaging company based in Lund, Sweden. Prior to joining Tetra Pak, Sorley worked as a certified public accountant within the auto manufacturing, real estate and public accounting industries. She has significant financial accounting and reporting experience, including Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, in addition to departmental operations experience. Ms. Sorley is a 1990 Magna Cum Laude graduate of University of Indianapolis. She resides in Greenwood, Indiana. The French Lick Resort Casino is a $382 million historic restoration and casino development project that includes the French Lick Springs Hotel, the new French Lick Casino (both opening November 2006) and the West Baden Springs Hotel (opening Spring 2007).
